Raytheon Autonomous Vehicle Competition

August 25, 2026 / Gagan Manjunatha

One of our club's main focuses is competing in the annual Raytheon Autonomous Vehicle Competition (RAVC). This club not only serves to sponsor projects for our club members to build throughout the year but also to recruit dedicated members to serve in the RAVC competition. The majority of our funding and our main sponsor is from Raytheon. Last year, George Mason University won 1st place.

The CORE team is the team that will be competing in the RAVC.  Anyone interested in joining the team must be an active member of the club and complete the Core Team Application Form: https://forms.gle/7FFFWiXR5DVCsKVC6.

To get an idea of what the competition is like, I have linked the the PDF rule book from last years competition.
